By using the Thaqalayn app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Service description

The app provides the Holy Quran, supplications, ziyarat and devotional acts (drawn from classical sources, chiefly Mafatih al-Jinan), plus a Hijri calendar of religious occasions with optional reminders. The service is free and ad-supported.

2. Religious content

• We take care to transcribe texts accurately from recognized sources; nevertheless unintentional errors or omissions may occur. If you find one, please email us at the address below.
• Hijri dates and occasions are approximate and may differ by moon sighting and religious authority; do not rely on them alone for religious obligations.
• Content is provided for devotional and cultural benefit and is not a substitute for consulting qualified scholars.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use the app only for lawful purposes and not to interfere with the service or its servers, misuse the content, or impersonate the app.

4. Ads and third-party services

The app displays ads via Google AdMob and uses Firebase services. Those services are governed by their providers' own terms and policies; we are not responsible for ad content or external sites.

5. Intellectual property

Classical religious texts are in the public domain. The app's design, code, and content organization are the property of the app developer and may not be republished or commercially exploited without permission.

6. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for direct or indirect damages arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on the app.

7. Changes and termination

We may amend these terms, update the app, or discontinue any feature at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the amended terms.
